Keep Houston Scary!

In Houston we have some spook building in our mist. One of them was the Jefferson Davis Hospital. Now the Hospital is converted into a apartment complex. I don't about you but just the thought of living in a haunted place give mes the chills.

The residence of The Jefferson Davis Hospital also have a backyard view of the Cremation Building, spooky isn't it!

This building was also a part of the Jefferson Hospital,
It was where the nurses would sleep and keep the babies

For our lunch, we ate at the Spaghetti Warehouse, which is said to be one of the scariest place. Well only eat on the second floor. I personally didn't feel any ghostly spirits, but some say they lurk around.

Oranges and Cars

One of the things I had no idea that existed in Houston was the Orange Show and The Car Show. These two place are very unique and they seem like it had to be lots of work to do.

The Orange Show was built in 1979 and is located on 2401 Munger Street in Houston.

Mr. McKissack loved oranges, so he made a park that expressed his passion for them. Now The Orange Show is used for the community and for special events that have during the year.

This a bit overview of what the Orange Show looks like. Its small but colorful. It reminded me of the circus and I love the circus. The Orange Show seem like it was made with love and lots of hard work. Now The Orange Show is a historical landmark.

The Car Show is once a year and people from all over thre nation decorate there automobiles very wild and have a parade to show of there crazy cars.

This is one of the cars that is showed of in the parade. Yes! they actually take this car out and drive it one the street. It looks crazy but this also considered art work.

Art Inside

I personally have never gone to a art museum but today I got lucky and was able to go to The Museum of Fine Arts. I was very pleased with all the art and allusions. Every painting has a story so art is one thing we should appreciate more.

One of my favorite part of the trip was the tunnel. It was a grand allusion , that took me by surprise! Honestly I loved the tunnel. It made me feel like I was floating in space.

This Art work was astonishing! It made me feel kind of scared but it kinda spoke to me. This painting by William Bouguereau, The Elder Sister was an explaination of how an  older sister cares for there sibiling . I truly feel that this painting is very depressing.

This painting was a yellow fellow as I like to say. I loved the way the artist used the diffrent shades of yellow to display his painting. This painting makes me feel happy the color yellow tends to do that alot.

This piece was incredible it made me feel like I was in an african place or in a tribe. This art work really makes the frame behind it pop out because of the use of color and texture. They go hand and hand together
